Order Entry/Preflight 

The Ink Spot, Inc. is looking for a detail orientated, reliable, and self motivated order entry/preflight specialist with previous digital printing or Adobe Suite experience.

Responsibilities include processing orders through email, checking artwork for any issues, answering phones, replying to e-mails, greeting and assisting customers, small copy jobs, shipping, small bindery projects, and other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift 30 + pounds.

Candidate should possess: excellent computer and clerical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic math skills, ability to work with others, multi-task, and be able to handle stressful situations. Perfect for graphic design students but this is not a design position.

Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm (8 hours during these times). 

Pay is $15 - $17 an hour

Print Production Specialist

The Ink Spot, Inc. is looking for an experienced Print Production Specialist to join our team.


The Print Production Specialist will produce products to customer’s specifications in a timely manner. Attention to detail is a must and is important to be successful in this position. Digital printers, envelope printers, foil machine, and laminating machine are some of the equipment that will be used. Must have extensive knowledge of digital printing equipment and willing to learn new equipment, software, and processes. The main goal is to provide high quality products correctly and on time.


  • Evaluates each file image for quality and color accuracy prior to printing.

  • Follows order details for producing each product.

  • Keeps Production Manager informed about job status and any issues that may arise.

  • Is responsible for keeping production area clean.

  • Maintains printers by performing the necessary tasks of loading and unloading media, calibrating printers, cleaning on a regular basis and performing regular maintenance as needed.

  • Reads and makes sure order details are understood before printing and producing.

  • Responsible for making sure products meet our customer’s exact specifications.

  • Responsible for placing service calls when printers are not functioning properly.

  • Responsible for updating internal workflow tracking software with due date and job status.

  • Utilizes Fiery Command Work Station software to select the proper media, quality and color settings to produce products according to customer’s specifications.

  • Performs quality assurance measures pre and post-production

  • Works on different projects simultaneously

  • Completes pricing audit at time of production

Job Qualifications:

  • 2+ years Print Production experience.

  • Knowledge of Adobe creative suite of products including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.

  • Able to troubleshoot technology and equipment.

  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

  • Can multitask.

  • Excellent communications skills, in person, on the phone or through email.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Experience with bindery equipment and lamination.

  • Extensive knowledge of different print medias.

  • Extreme attention to detail.

  • High energy and a positive attitude.

  • Highly organized.

  • Self-motivated
